Geneviève Claisse (1935-2018). French artist born 1935 in Quiévy, in the north of France. A self-taught artist, she became a great personality of abstract geometry. She was devoted to formal purity and perfection in visual execution and the transfiguration of works through the intensity of colour relationships and thickness of lines. Her work is present today in many museums and private collections worldwide.
