Fabio De Poli. b1947-Genoa. Graduated from Florenace Art Institute, specialising in advertising graphics. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions primarily in Italy. De Poli's works are often cateogorised with the " European pop art " trend, beng compared to Joe Tilson, and the Spaniard Eduardo Arroyo. In 1992 he participated in the “Italian Artist’s book “ at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
In 1996 he released the monograph “Fabio De Poli works 1969-1996”, curated by Bruno Baglivo, published by Polistampa. As an illustrator with Andrea Rauch Public Library, he published four books for children : “Notte di luna” , won the Andersen Award for best picture book.
In 2007, became the Artistic Director at the Usher Art Gallery of Lucca.
