Cesare Peverell. Italian. 1922-2000. Attended the Brera Academy in Milan. In 1946, he joined the 'Oltre Guernica Group' as the main protagonist in neo-Cubism and later founded the magazine Numero. He moved to Paris in 1957, expanding his interest in surrealism forging ties with the likes of Max Ernst and Andre Masson, and Sebastian Matta.
