Boonaker is self-taught artist who is most influenced by landscapes,light, and extreme colour contrasts. He has studios in Amsterdam and the Mexican Acapulco.  He mainly paints with acrylics but also use pastel and watercolour. He lectures in Rome, Florence and Venice.
